Agra Fort Tour
Before there was the Taj Mahal, there was this fort. Walk through the seat of Mughal power with a guide who can actually explain what you're standing in.
What this tour is
Agra Fort is a walled Mughal city in its own right — audience halls, private palaces, and the tower where Emperor Shah Jahan is said to have spent his final years looking out at the Taj Mahal he built for his wife.
It's quieter than the Taj, architecturally just as serious, and often skipped or rushed by group tours. This tour gives it the time it deserves.
How the visit unfolds
- 1Entry through the Amar Singh Gate.
- 2A walk through the Diwan-i-Am (public audience hall) and Diwan-i-Khas (private audience hall).
- 3The Musamman Burj — the tower with the Taj Mahal view.
- 4Jahangir Mahal and the fort's inner palace courtyards.

Questions about this tour
Not by default — the Private Taj Mahal Tour focuses on the Taj itself. Agra Fort is easy to add as a same-day extension or book as its own half-to-full day.
Most visits run 2–3 hours at a relaxed pace, longer if it's paired with the Taj Mahal in the same day.
Yes — it's a genuinely different kind of site: lived-in Mughal architecture rather than a mausoleum, with a very different story to tell.
